Want to have the perfect compass setting for visiting all the wonderful jewels that Tuscany has to offer ? Then look no further !

To the north there is Arezzo with its cobbled lanes full of goldsmiths workshops and its antique fair the first weekend of each month. To the south is Montepulicano and stunning Pienza. Go west and in 40minutes you can be taking part in the Palio of Siena. Go east and you reach Cortona, Perugia, Lake Traismeno, the De Ruta cermaic factory and the awe inspiring and heavenly ASSISI.

Podere di Mezzo is here in the middle, a short drive fromthe wonderful Medieval town of Lucignano. The house stands astride a working vineyard and has wonderful views over the countryside. The accomodation is all on the first floor and there is a large outdoor area for al fresco dining with barbecue and of course lots of areas for relaxation and sunbathing by the pool.   The beamed and tiled interiors are simply furnished in typical Tuscan style and you will be pleased to know that all the windows have screens.

The closest town is Sinalunga with all amenities including restaurants.  The exit from the A1 motorway is just under 10 minutes drive, making access to the North and South very stress free and quick.  You can be in Rome in just under 2 hours.    Lucignano 10 mins, Siena 40 minutes, Cortona 25 minutes, Assisi 1 hour,  Florence 1 hour twenty.
