Poggio Lungo is a former farmhouse that has been lovingly and patiently restored to its former glory by its owners Marcella and Massimo.  It has been a labour of love and the end result has even surpassed their expectations.
The house sits atop a poggio (Tuscan word for hill) so there is a pleasant breeze to be had while enjoying that beautiful Tuscan sun !

Situated in the Chianti Aretino in a perfect triangle for Florence (60km), Siena (35km) and Arezzo (35km) all your dreams for visiting the cities of art can come true while at the same time relaxing and enjoying this tranquil part of Tuscany.

1st fl: this can be accessed directly from outside or from an internal staircase leading up from the living room : There are 20 steps up to :

1 master bedroom with 4 poster double bed and en suite facilities with shower.

To the left hand side of the main house is an annexe where a further 2 guests can be housed. There is a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with shower and a small living/dining area with cooking area (normally reserved for the grandparents who sometime require peace and quiet !).  Next door to the annexe is the laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board.

 
The nearest village is Badia Agnano 3km (small foodshops, baker, petrol station, post office).

Within easy reach are : the Chianti vineyards,  Siena, San Gimignano, Florence (it is possible to leave your car at Montevarchi and take the train there), Arezzo (Antiques market first Saturday and Sunday of each month).
